Article 1 - General
At the start of a job application process with Coosto B.V. you will be requested to provide us with various kinds of personal data. The data you share with Coosto will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and stored in a secure environment. The data requested by Coosto shall only be used for an efficient and secure application process. This privacy policy is meant to inform you about the Coosto application process in the best possible manner.Coosto will never ask for more data than necessary for the execution of the employment agreement. In addition, we will never disclose more data to third parties than absolutely necessary for the execution of the agreements with these parties. Your personal data will only be collected and processed in compliance with the applicable privacy laws and regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Article 2 – Applicants' data
Coosto collects and processes your data by means of various forms, through the CVs or via Coosto's job vacancy website. Additionally, your personal data may be used in personal contact, either by phone or via email. Some examples of the data Coosto can use is your contact information, such as name, address, and preferred language, as well as your education and work history. Coosto would like to emphasise that it will under no circumstance process sensitive information about you, such as your ethnic background or political affiliation. Should any additional sensitive personal information be collected, Coosto will ask for your express and written consent beforehand. However, should you disclose sensitive information to Coosto on your own initiative, you give your consent to Coosto to use this data during the application process. When you use your LinkedIn profile to apply directly via the website, you give your consent to Coosto to process the personal data which you included in your LinkedIn profile. All data collected during the application process will be exclusively collected and processed in the Netherlands and in a secure database. When you, however, apply for a job at our location in Alicante, Spain, we are obliged to share your personal data with our Spanish location. Naturally, we will apply the same privacy requirements and storage terms as established in the Netherlands. 

Article 3 – Applicants' entitlements
You are entitled to file a request to see the data that Coosto has registered. Additionally, you retain the right to file a request to edit, supplement, and delete your personal data, In order to do this, you need to send a request by email (see Article 7).

Article 4 – How long do we store the personal data
Coosto will store your personal data for no longer than necessary for the duration of the application process (with a maximum of three months after you have sent in your application), unless you give your express consent to store it for a longer period. The latter may be convenient when we do not have the right position for you now, but expect to be able to mean something for you in the near future. In that case, we will store your data for one year in our database for the Coosto Talent Group. This will always be done in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. After the statutory storage term, or when the period for which we received your consent expires, all your data will be deleted completely from our system. You retain the right to withdraw your consent to Coosto at all times and at any moment.  

Article 5 – Disclosure of personal data
Coosto will only share your personal data with third parties when your data is required for the purpose of this privacy policy. This will always be done in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. Coosto guarantees that the most stringent security measures are enforced in order to safeguard the security of your data. Coosto will not sell or trade any data of applicants to third parties. We will only do this when we have the legal obligation to do so. 

Article 6 – Security
Coosto will ensure that it will apply fitting technical and organisational measures to safeguard the security of your personal data at all times. Access to your data is limited to the HR department and the team members involved in the recruitment activities by Coosto. Pursuant to legislation, Coosto will ensure the proper security measures to protect the processing of your personal data as well as preventive measures against abuse. 

Article 7 – Contact information
This contact information can only be used for questions with regard to privacy. Information about vacancies at Coosto or any other questions will not be answered.
